General booking and cancellation conditions
A refund or compensation of paid but not used services is not possible.
For unpleasant cancellations, we strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
Reservation changes and cancellations are only valid with our written confirmation. If the booked arrangement cannot be fully leased, a settlement is made on the total booking amount:
- 7 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the booked service
- No show, late arrival, early departure: full settlement of the cancellation.

Definitive booking: With the definitive registration, the guest acknowledges these general booking conditions. The hotel shall be legally binding upon written confirmation (by post, fax or email), which shall be sent no later than within two working days. Please check this confirmation and report any errors or corrections immediately
Cancellation costs: If the guest wishes to cancel a definite reservation for any reason, the above cancellation costs will apply. The date of receipt of the cancellation at the Hotel Meierhof is decisive for the calculation of the cancellation costs. If the room cannot be rented for the same period after a cancellation, the hotel reserves the right to charge the cancellation costs listed above. For special offers, different booking conditions may apply.
Complaints: Defects that cannot be repaired immediately on the spot must be reported to the hotel management immediately, but at the latest within 72 hours. Unresolved defects must be confirmed in writing within 7 days. No complaints can be made against the hotel, its representatives or third parties after the deadline has expired.
Place of jurisdiction: The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Locarno.
